Evolution of a Kiss

I wanted to record how Kaylee's kisses have changed over her two and a half years.

Her first kisses were wet and sloppy. She stuck her tongue out as far as it would go and lay a big wet one on you. It was adorable, and of course you love being kissed by your daughter, but there's always a little part of you that shivers and says "ewe!"

Eventually she grew out of it and learned how to pucker her lips. Up until recently she has been giving pretty "normal" kisses.

Now in the last few weeks she's started doing this blowing thing after the kiss. Do you think maybe she regrets all those wet sloppy faces she left behind and thinks this will make up for them? I don't know. I suspect she learned to do this from "Miss Patty Cake" - a video that was handed down to us from Kaylee's cousin. Miss Patty Cake blows kisses at the end of the show and I'm starting to suspect that this is where she got the idea. Anyway, it's cute and always gets a smile out of me!
